Starts in an idle state where it wanders about, firing rings of Paralyzing yellow stars and pairs of Dazing arrowheads, along with a periodic double ring of stars. When taking damage or detecting a nearby player, briefly goes invulnerable before becoming active.
In its active state, it is immune to Stunned, and alternates between three attack patterns:
At ~30% HP, it will briefly flash red, turn invulnerable, and grow in size as it enters an enraged state, becoming permanently Armored. It then fires a ring of yellow stars and a spread of small stingers, becomes additionally immune to Paralyze, spawns several Enraged Yellow Killer Bees and starts aggressively chasing players, firing rings of Paralyzing/Dazing orbs, multi-directional small stingers, spreads of Dazing arrows, and thrown white bombs; it will flash pink before firing a Paralyze ring. It will also briefly go invulnerable each time it flashes pink.
If it is left alive in its rage state for long enough, it will briefly go invulnerable and repeat its enraged attack sequence from the beginning.
Spawns:
Yellow Killer Bee
Enraged Yellow Killer Bee
The Yellow Soldier Bee’s rage phase can appear very intimidating, but in reality, it deals very little damage by itself. However, the Enraged Yellow Killer Bees it spawns can deal massive damage if they stack up.
Bait it alongside a wall during its circling attack to reduce its effective speed. Keep a safe distance to prevent being paralyzed, then drag it in a straight line during its direct chase to stay out of paralyze range as you whittle it down.
