When destroyed, the maggot egg will explode into a few colored larvae.

If you have unfortunately activated many of these maggot eggs, you only have a split second to run away. If you dont, the maggots are going to paralyze, pet stasis and armor break you, meaning you take 30 armor piercing damage. 30 might not seem alot, but couple this with many maggots, and you’re pretty much dead unless you nexus.
