The Ice Weapons, sometimes called Winter T12 reskins, are limited availability versions of the tier 12 weapons themed on ice.
The weapons are all Oryxmas Gear items, meaning if worn in conjunction with the Ornaments of Unity they will contribute towards the Oryxmas Gear set bonus.
History
These items were first brought into the game in Patch X.20.0 (Dec 2017), available via The Tinkerer and in some event chests over the Holiday period.
They made an appearance in an Ice Cave chest event in May 2018, and then returned in the Winter 2018 event as rewards at The Tinkerer. They appeared yet again in Christmas 2019-2020 aswell as Christmas 2020-2021, dropping from all realm encounters.
In Exalt Version 1.3.0.0 (Dec 2020), each weapon recieved a new sprite and a new projectile.
Before Exalt Version 2.0.0.0 (Aug 2021), these items were soulbound.
In Exalt Version 4.1.0.0 (Dec 2023), the alternate ice weapons were added.
