It can be seen as a somewhat offense-boosting ring, though some may prefer a more balanced option such as the Ring of the Pyramid.

However, thanks to its ST nature, it has some potential when used with other items of the set: in particular, it enables a decent defensive proc when worn with the Reinforced Root Armor.
