Part of the Hollow King Necromancer Set.
This is a purely damage dealing skull, with the most AOE damage of any skull (400, ignoring most DEF), a decent radius, a massive ATT boost, and Damaging. Note that it lacks WisMod and that takes a lot of Magic Heal to get permanent Damaging.
However, it does not provide healing or a maximum HP boost, so should typically be carried alongside another skull for when you need either property.
History
This item used to drop in a cyan bag before the addition of orange bags in Patch X.18.0 (Oct 2017).
Before Exalt Version 1.1.0.0 (Sep 2020), this item had a stat bonus of +5 VIT.
Before Exalt Version 3.3.5.0 (Mar 2023), this item dealt 400 damage with 400 armor ignore.
Trivia
Its name roughly translates to “remember that you have to die” in Latin, and is actually a Latin Christian theory and practice of reflection on mortality.
