Part of the Legacy Twilight Archmage Set.
This ring can be viewed as a much weaker version of Bracer of the Guardian with very little reason to wear it outside of completing the Legacy Twilight Archmage Set.
History
Added in Release 27.6 (Aug 2015) under its original name The Forgotten Ring.
Under its previous name this ring was first made available through The Alchemist.
The original stats of the item were a paltry +10 HP and +5 MP, which made it one of the weakest rings in the game, with stat bonuses even below those of tier 1 rings.
The Forgotten Ring was not added as a drop until Sep 2016 when as part of an ‘ST Weekend’ event it was added to Ice Adept (at double drop rate throughout the event), and it remained an ongoing drop after the event ended in Patch 27.7.X5 (Sep 2016).
It used to drop in a cyan bag before the addition of orange bags in Patch X.18.0 (Oct 2017).
The ring was buffed in Patch X.20.0 (Dec 2017) which transferred some additional stat bonuses from the (now Legacy) Ancient Spell: Pierce as part of a rebalance to the ST set, raising it from +10 HP, +5 MP to its current stats.
In Patch X.31.9.0 (Aug 2019) the item was renamed to Legacy Forgotten Ring upon the release of a new soulbound version of the ring: The Forgotten Ring. The original-now-Legacy version was removed as a drop at this time.
